Three Laughing Fakirs!

Hello, lovely Folks. hope you all are having a great time!!

let me share a little story with you all. once upon a time, there were three fakirs in china. As every fakir is unique in some sense but they were completely different. they were extremely unique. let’s know what their uniqueness was. wherever they go, they never demanded anything and neither they delivered any preaching or discourses. they just used to laugh after landing a place. they never did anything else. they were never seen when they were not  laughing. they were living in a permanent bliss. they used to be called “three laughing fakirs” in china.

wherever they go, they made it a laughing place. after their arrival, all the people of that particular place would start laughing. they filled the people’s lives with colours. people were happy with them. they normally used to spend their free time with these laughing fakirs.

after some time, one of the fakirs passed away. after knowing this, all the villagers became sad and thought they now the rest two fakirs must be sad. but when saw the fakirs they were laughing as always. the people were dumbfounded and asked about their third friend. they said that he has gone to a great journey before them and tomorrow we will see him off. all the village was in tears but both the fakirs were laughing.

when they were carrying the dead body for the cremation, the situation was becoming different. there was a smile on all the faces. when incineration was done, the whole village started laughing. there was a universal laughter at the cremation place. what had happened to the people? a few moments ago everyone was in a great sorrow but now everyone was laughing. actually, before dying, he told to his friends to not to change his clothes before incineration and he asked them to put firecrackers in his clothes. so when they burned his dead body, crackers started exploding, it filled the whole place with a divine laughter. he made all of them happy even in his last time. he was such a holy person.

Now I want to ask can’t we have such a beautiful and ascetic life which is filled with happiness? is it really necessary to take things so seriously? I do not think so. life is beautiful but it can’t be so, the way we live it. if we try to find a laughter then there is a laughter in every aspect of life. the moment we are able to find the laughter in everything, we don’t need to do anything else. this should be our prime objective. an unhappy person can’t make others happy. he will always knowingly or unknowingly make others unhappy but a happy person will always give happiness to others.

if we try to take things lightly, then most of the problems of life will be solved automatically. the major cause of all of our miseries is our seriousness towards life which is not needed at all. in my view, everything is a joke and if it could be taken as a joke then things can be totally different.

“I am the happiest creature in the world. Perhaps other people have said so before, but not one with such justice. I am happier even than Jane; she only smiles, I laugh.”
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

“If you wish to glimpse inside a human soul and get to know a man, don’t bother analysing his ways of being silent, of talking, of weeping, of seeing how much he is moved by noble ideas; you will get better results if you just watch him laugh. If he laughs well, he’s a good man.”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
